TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service govern your use of The Playbook newsletter service operated by Sovereign Crown Technologies Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). By subscribing or using our services you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

The Playbook delivers AI-generated sports intelligence emails: one personalised daily briefing per subscriber. We currently cover twenty-one competitions: the Premier League, the EFL Championship, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, MLS, the Women's Super League, Liga F, the NFL, the NBA, the WNBA, the NHL, MLB, F1, the PGA Tour, the UFC, the UCI WorldTour, Premiership Rugby, the United Rugby Championship, and the Top 14.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of material changes.

2. Subscription Terms

The Playbook is offered in three tiers. The paid tiers are sold through secure checkout by Stripe, and the pricing below is the pricing presented to you at the point of purchase.

• The Brief — free. Covers up to 2 teams per subscriber, at no charge.
• The Daily — CA$5.99 per month, or CA$54 per year. Covers up to 5 teams, all of which appear in every edition.
• Premium — CA$7.99 per month, or CA$72 per year. Covers up to 25 teams, of which up to 10 teams appear in each day’s edition on a rotation.

• New free subscribers may choose up to 25 teams and receive Premium on all of them for their first 7 days, with up to 10 teams in each day’s edition on a rotation as described above. At signup they mark 2 teams as their main teams; after the 7 days the account continues on the free tier with those 2 teams. No payment details are taken for this period and nothing is charged at the end of it.
• Referrals. A subscriber who joins through another subscriber’s referral link receives the full paid edition for their first 14 days instead of 7. When a referred subscriber is still subscribed after their first 7 days and has opened at least one edition, the subscriber who referred them receives 30 days of Premium at no charge. Referral credit accumulates up to 90 days ahead at any one time, has no cash value, and is not given for referring yourself. We may withhold or remove credit obtained through fake or duplicate sign-ups.
• You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. If you have a paid plan, unsubscribing also cancels its renewal: you will not be charged again.
• Paid prices are in Canadian dollars. We do not add tax at checkout: the price shown is the total you are charged. For readers in the EU, EEA and UK, prices are shown including applicable taxes. Every subscription is charged in Canadian dollars wherever you are; if your card is in another currency, your bank converts it at its own rate.

3. Cancellation, Withdrawal & Refunds

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.

To cancel, open the “Manage your teams & account” link in any Playbook email and file a cancellation from your account page. No email to hand? Use our Cancel subscription page — no login needed: enter your address and we’ll email you a link that opens straight onto the cancel button. Or email us at hello@theplaybookam.com.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal (EU, EEA and UK consumers). If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. Your first paper is delivered the next morning, so at checkout you ask us to start your subscription immediately and confirm that you understand you lose this right once delivery has started. If you still have a right to withdraw under the law where you live, tell us within the 14 days (see section 9) and we will refund the price, less the part that covers the days already delivered, to your original payment method within 14 days.

Refunds after that. Apart from the withdrawal right above, we do not issue refunds for partial months or years, for unused time, or for a change of mind. This applies to monthly and yearly plans alike. The free trial requires no card, so you can read the full paper before you pay.

Charges made in error are refunded in full. If you are charged twice for the same period, charged after your cancellation took effect, or charged because of a fault on our side, tell us through your account page (see section 9) and we will refund that charge in full to your original payment method.

Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the consumer-protection law that applies where you live.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Resell, redistribute, or republish our content without written permission.
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest content from our emails or website.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our systems or data sources.
• Submit false information during signup.

5. Content & Accuracy

The Playbook uses AI-generated analysis and live sports data from third-party providers. Content is for informational and entertainment purposes only. We make no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Nothing in our emails constitutes financial, betting, or investment advice. We include responsible gambling disclosures where relevant. Please gamble responsibly — 18+ only where applicable.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and email templates produced by The Playbook are the property of Sovereign Crown Technologies Inc. and are protected by copyright. You may share or quote brief excerpts with attribution, but may not reproduce full editions without permission.

Third-party team names, logos, and league trademarks are the property of their respective owners. We use them for editorial identification purposes only and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any league or club.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sovereign Crown Technologies Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
