Every morning at 6 AM Eastern Time. The send is automated by a GitHub Actions cron and uses Resend as the primary delivery provider with Gmail SMTP as a fallback.

How does The Playbook prevent AI hallucinations in sports facts?

Accepted Answer

Every brief passes a 9-rule fact-check validator before sending. The validator catches wrong scores, players incorrectly placed at former teams (e.g. citing a transferred player at his old club), fabricated statistics, banned coach mentions, impossible game states, and stale historical references. Critical or major violations trigger a re-prompt; if a transferred-player leak survives the retry, the offending sentence is redacted before the email goes out.
